This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the rules relating to paid Crevator subscriptions, including billing, automatic renewals, cancellations, refunds, subscription changes, failed payments, and applicable consumer rights.
This policy applies to purchases of Crevator Pro made through Crevator.
It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Free and Paid Plans
Crevator may offer both a Free plan and a paid Crevator Pro subscription.
The Free plan does not require a subscription payment.
Crevator Pro provides access to additional features, higher usage allowances, increased storage, and other benefits described on our pricing or subscription pages.
The specific features and limits included with each plan may change from time to time in accordance with our Terms of Service.
2. Pro Subscription Options
Crevator Pro may be available through different billing periods, including:
- Monthly subscriptions
- Yearly subscriptions
The price, billing frequency, currency, applicable taxes, and other relevant purchase information will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Your subscription begins when your payment is successfully completed and the subscription becomes active.
3. Payment Processing
Crevator Pro subscription payments are processed through Paddle.
Depending on the transaction and applicable jurisdiction, Paddle may act as the merchant of record and may handle:
- Payment processing
- Billing
- Applicable taxes
- Receipts and invoices
- Subscription-related payment information
- Certain refund processes
Crevator does not store your complete payment card details.
Your payment may also be subject to Paddle's applicable terms and policies.
4. Automatic Renewal
Unless otherwise clearly stated at the time of purchase, Crevator Pro subscriptions automatically renew.
A monthly subscription will generally renew each month.
A yearly subscription will generally renew each year.
By purchasing an automatically renewing subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the subscription price and applicable taxes to your payment method at each renewal until you cancel.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate renewal notices or reminders will be provided.
5. Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel your Crevator Pro subscription using the subscription-management functionality available through Crevator or the applicable payment provider.
You should cancel before your next renewal date if you do not want the subscription to renew.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancelling your subscription does not immediately terminate a billing period you have already paid for.
For example, if you pay for a monthly subscription and cancel halfway through the month, your Pro access will generally remain available until the end of that paid billing period.
Likewise, if you cancel a yearly subscription before its next renewal date, you will generally retain Pro access until the end of the already-paid yearly subscription period.
After the paid subscription period ends, your account may return to the Free plan unless another valid Pro entitlement applies.
6. Cancellation Does Not Automatically Create a Refund
Cancelling a subscription and requesting a refund are different actions.
Cancelling prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund payments already made.
Except where required by applicable law or where a refund is approved under this policy, amounts already paid for a current subscription period are not automatically refunded merely because the subscription is cancelled before the period ends.
You may continue using the paid features until the end of the paid subscription period unless a refund, charge reversal, account termination, or other circumstance requires access to end earlier.
7. Refund Requests
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or have another legitimate reason for requesting a refund, contact:
When contacting us, please provide enough information for us to identify the transaction, such as:
- The email address associated with your Crevator account
- Approximate payment date
- Subscription type
- A brief explanation of the issue
Do not send us complete card numbers, banking credentials, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive financial information.
Refund requests will be reviewed based on the circumstances, this policy, Paddle's applicable payment processes, and applicable law.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved unless you have a legal right to the refund.
8. Situations Where We May Consider a Refund
Subject to applicable law, Crevator may consider refunds in circumstances such as:
- You were incorrectly charged more than once for the same subscription period;
- A clear billing error occurred;
- You were charged after a cancellation that should already have taken effect;
- A technical issue attributable to Crevator materially prevented you from accessing the paid Service for a significant period and we could not reasonably resolve it;
- Another exceptional circumstance where Crevator determines that a refund is appropriate.
We may request reasonable information necessary to investigate a refund request.
Nothing in this section limits refund rights provided by applicable law.
9. Change of Mind
Except where applicable law provides otherwise, purchasing Crevator Pro and later deciding that you no longer want or need the Service does not automatically entitle you to a refund for time already paid for.
You can cancel your subscription to prevent future renewals and, unless otherwise applicable, continue using Pro until the end of your current paid period.
This section does not limit statutory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights that apply to you.
10. Monthly Subscriptions
If you cancel a monthly subscription, the cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly period.
Unless required by law or separately approved under this policy:
- The current month is not automatically prorated;
- Unused days are not automatically refunded; and
- You retain Pro access through the remainder of the paid period.
Your subscription will not renew after the cancellation becomes effective.
11. Yearly Subscriptions
If you cancel a yearly subscription, the cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid yearly period.
Unless required by law or separately approved under this policy:
- The yearly payment is not automatically divided into monthly refund amounts;
- Unused months are not automatically refunded; and
- You generally retain Pro access until the end of the paid yearly period.
Cancelling prevents the next yearly renewal.
12. Switching From Monthly to Yearly
Crevator may allow users to change from a monthly Pro subscription to a yearly Pro subscription.
Where Crevator offers an immediate billing-cycle change, the new yearly subscription may begin immediately.
Any credit, proration, or adjustment for unused time on the existing monthly subscription will be calculated and processed through the payment provider according to the checkout and billing terms presented at the time of the change.
The amount shown before confirming the change should reflect any applicable immediate charge, credit, or adjustment.
A billing-cycle change is not treated as a separate cash refund request unless money is actually refunded to your original payment method.
13. Failed or Declined Payments
If a subscription payment fails or is declined, Crevator or its payment provider may attempt to collect the payment again.
During this process, the subscription may become past due or otherwise subject to the payment provider's retry and recovery process.
Access to Pro may continue temporarily or may eventually be restricted depending on the subscription's billing status and Crevator's current billing rules.
If payment cannot be successfully collected, the Pro subscription may end and the account may return to the Free plan.
A failed or declined payment does not itself constitute a successful charge and therefore does not create a refund entitlement for an amount that was never collected.
14. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe you have been:
- Charged twice for the same subscription;
- Charged the wrong subscription price;
- Charged after an effective cancellation; or
- Otherwise incorrectly billed,
contact support@crevator.com as soon as reasonably possible.
We will review the transaction and, where an incorrect charge is confirmed, take appropriate action, which may include issuing or facilitating a refund.
15. Refund Method and Processing Time
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment provider and returned to the original payment method where possible.
The time required for a refund to appear depends on Paddle, your payment method, your bank or card issuer, and other financial institutions involved.
Once a refund has been submitted to the payment provider, Crevator cannot guarantee the exact date on which the funds will appear in your account.
16. Effect of a Full Refund on Pro Access
If a payment for a Crevator Pro subscription is fully refunded, Crevator may end the Pro entitlement associated with that payment.
Your account may then return to the Free plan unless you have another valid basis for Pro access.
Ending Pro access after a refund does not necessarily mean your Crevator account will be deleted.
Where possible, downgrade rules described in our Terms of Service apply, including non-destructive handling of existing data that exceeds Free-plan limits.
17. Partial Refunds and Credits
In some circumstances, Crevator or Paddle may issue a partial refund, account adjustment, or billing credit rather than a full refund.
The effect of a partial refund or credit on your subscription will depend on the circumstances and how the adjustment is processed.
A credit applied toward a future payment is not the same as money refunded to your payment method.
Any applicable amount will be communicated through the payment provider or Crevator.
18. Taxes
Subscription prices may be subject to VAT, sales tax, GST, or other taxes depending on your location and applicable law.
Paddle may calculate, collect, and remit applicable taxes as part of its role in processing Crevator subscriptions.
Where a refund is issued, the treatment of taxes will be handled according to applicable law and the payment provider's processes.
19. EU/EEA and Consumer Withdrawal Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or another jurisdiction that provides statutory withdrawal rights for digital services, you may have a legal right to withdraw from certain online purchases within a specified period, commonly 14 days, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
The precise right depends on factors including your country, whether the Service began immediately at your request, what was presented and agreed to during checkout, and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict a statutory withdrawal right that applies to you.
Where the law permits a statutory withdrawal right to be affected by requesting immediate performance of a digital service, any required consent, acknowledgment, or information must be provided in accordance with applicable law.
If you believe you have a statutory withdrawal right and wish to exercise it, contact support@crevator.com or use any withdrawal/refund mechanism provided through the applicable payment provider.
20. Consumers Outside the EU/EEA
Users in other countries may have mandatory cancellation, renewal, cooling-off, or refund rights under their local laws.
Nothing in this policy excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.
Where mandatory local consumer law provides greater rights than this policy, the mandatory legal requirements will apply.
21. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you do not recognize a payment or believe a charge is incorrect, we encourage you to contact support@crevator.com so that the issue can be investigated.
You also retain any rights available through your payment provider, card issuer, bank, or applicable law.
Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in restrictions on the relevant account where reasonably necessary to protect Crevator against fraud or abuse.
We will not restrict lawful consumer rights to dispute genuinely unauthorized or incorrect charges.
22. Promotional or Complimentary Pro Access
Crevator may provide certain users with:
- Complimentary Pro access
- Promotional access
- Administrative Pro access
- Trial or other non-paid access
Because no subscription payment may have been made for such access, there may be no payment to refund.
Ending complimentary, promotional, administrative, or other non-paid access does not itself create a right to a monetary refund.
If a user separately has a paid subscription, refund rights relating to that paid subscription remain governed by this policy and applicable law.
23. Account Deletion
Deleting your Crevator account is separate from requesting a refund.
Where an active subscription exists, Crevator may cancel the subscription as part of the account-deletion process.
Deleting an account does not automatically create a refund for a subscription period already purchased unless required by applicable law or a refund is otherwise approved.
Because account deletion may permanently remove account data, users should download or retain any information they need before deleting their account.
24. Changes to Subscription Prices
Crevator may change Pro subscription pricing in the future.
Any price change affecting an existing subscription will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the payment provider's billing requirements.
Where required, users will receive notice before a new price applies to a future renewal.
A new price will not be applied retroactively to a completed payment.
25. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy as Crevator develops, our billing practices change, payment providers change, or legal requirements evolve.
Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
The date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently updated.
Changes do not remove refund or consumer rights that had already arisen under applicable law.
26. Relationship With Other Crevator Terms
This Refund & Cancellation Policy should be read together with the:
If there is a conflict concerning subscription refunds or cancellations, this Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to those matters, subject always to mandatory applicable law.
